Portsonachan Hotel offers pet friendly Lochside Suites on a nightly basis, B&B from £90 to £120.00 or alternatively on a Min of 3 Nights Self Catering as all contain kitchens.

Our 1 bedroom Lochside suites are spectacular units with large double bedrooms with intergrated Villroy & Boch bathroom and a HiFi system, Tv and DVD player. Other amenities include:

Ground Floor wet shower room.
Kitchen including dishwasher.
Comfy lounge with leather sofas, one of which is a sofa bed with 4" sprung mattress.
Patio with seating on the Loch shore.
Central heating and double glazing with large patio doors affording unbelievable view over the surrounding area.
Private parking in dedicated unit parking and highland slate flooring, so that the unit is outdoor sursuits friendly.


Price for a week includes all linen and towels etc. but exclusive of electricity which is charged at 11p per unit of consumption.

Short Breaks are available for a min 3night stay.

The 3 bedroom lodge is our largest lodge sleeping 8. It has a kitchen with dining area, with a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, cooker and microwave. other amenities include:

Lounge with wide screen TV and a DVD player, HIFI, sauna and exercise room.
Bedroom 1: Double bed with built in wardrobe and free standing dressing table.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds with free standing wardrobe and dressing table.
Bedroom 3: We can do either a double full size bunk bed or one 3'6" single (please inform us in advance of your requirement).

Plus a further sofa bed in the lounge which sleeps 2 (4" sprung mattress).

This accomodation is all on one level, suitable for guests with mobility problems and also suitable for pets.

2 Bedroom Log Cabin

Our 2 bedroomed Lodges (hillside) are suitable for sleeping 6. These units have a first floor lounge and kitchen diner with dining table. They have a balcony and are in an elevated position overlooking Loch Awe with views for approx. 15 miles. They contains:

Kitchen with dining area for 6.
Dishwasher, fridge, cooker and microwave.
Main bedroom with Sauna and a power shower.
Second bathroom/shower - ensuite to main bedroom.
Bedroom 1: Double bed with built in wardrobe and free standing dressing table. Ensuite facilities.
Bedroom 2: Double Bedroom with built in wardrobe.

Our 1 bedroom lodge sleeps 4. These units have a a lounge-dining area, this space also includes a sofa bed with sprung mattress (5f), wide screen TV, DVD player and HIFI . The double bedroom had en-suite facilities.

The lodge contains a kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, cooker and microwave. There is also a second bathroom/shower. They are in an elevated position overlooking Loch Awe with views for several miles down the Loch.

Our Coach House apartments are 2 bedrooms and 1 bedrooms.

The 2 Bedroom appartments have the following facilities:
